I thought I’d just quickly upload some spreads from one of my favourite National Geographic Traveller pieces from recent times. I was really lucky to have Richard Taylor, a photographer we have collaborated with on several occasions, actually in Burma when we called out for photographers, and as a result he was able to shoot for us that very week – a first for the magazine in its relative infancy. Richard shoots for @feel4corners, a travel library we work with often.
I guess we were also lucky that the country, and indeed the places our writer visited, were very photogenic, and full of atmosphere and story. As a result, there wasn’t much of a need to overdesign: this was a real chance to let the photos do all of the talking.
See the first three spreads here.
Beautiful images! Looking forward to following the new blog.
PS. I’m always here ‘in Australia’ if you need a call out for images here…happy to oblige!
